Bajan singer, Rihanna has taken over from former Spice Girl singer Victoria Beckham as the face of Giorgio Armani.
Earlier this month, the owners of the fashion label announced the Grammy Award winner as the face of their Armani Jeans and Emporio Armani Underwear collections.
According to Giorgio Armani, ‘Rihanna
is a great artist with a personality, charisma and energy that captures
the young and contemporary essence of Emporio Armani Underwear and
Armani Jeans perfectly‘.
Meanwhile, Rihanna says she’s excited to be working with the brand. ‘I
have always really admired Giorgio Armani and his elegant work; I never
dreamed I’d be able to collaborate with him to design unique, modern
and fun clothing‘, said the singer
