Easy Taxi Featured on CNN’s Africa Start-Up

Nigeria’s leading Taxi hailing company Easy Taxi has been featured on CNN’s Africa Start-Up, a new programming strand that shines the spotlight on African Start-ups and entrepreneurs on Sunday 26 2014.

This is a milestone for Easy Taxi, a taxi hailing app with operations around the world which was founded in Nigeria by Bankole Cardoso.

The value proposition is straightforward and allows Nigerians request a taxi from the comforts of their homes or offices.

“It’s as easy as the name is. I wanted it to be simple for customers, very easy for users to download the app and request a taxi at a click”, Cardoso stated on CNN Africa Start-up.
In the long run, Cardoso sees Easy Taxi changing the taxi culture in Nigeria with hopes to standardize the pricing of taxis in the country.

The taxi hailing app which started barely 6 months ago is growing at a rapid pace. “Demand is catching on. I’m bringing a completely new model, a completely new idea to Nigeria, it’s not where we want it to be yet but it’s getting on” Cardoso added.
