Aaron and Sharon Igho, better known as Addiction, are twins who learnt their trade in the musically fertile city of Jos. Their new singles “Down Low” and “Don’t Go Funny” highlight the J-Town effect as we see loads of Choc City affiliation. “Born 28th September, a Nigerian hip/hop sensation – Addiction, also known as Aaron & Sharon Igho (Twins), born in the UK and raised in Jos, Nigeria. Originally from Delta State. Studied in the university of Jos (UNIJOS) and obtained a degree in psychology and political science. Later relocated to Abuja after the 2007 religious crisis. Addiction is currently working on their album due out 2012 and which they say “is filled with insightful topics, great songs, collaborations and hard hitting beats.” Brace yourself for the dynamic duo – Addiction and wanting more of their music is not unusual.
