Greek Actress is New Bond Girl

A Greek actress has revealed she is to star alongside Daniel Craig as the latest Bond girl to join the cast of new 007 film, Skyfall.

Tonia Sotiropoulou, who is also a model, made the announcement on her Facebook page , describing it as "the happiest day of my life".

She will join filming in Istanbul, Turkey, later this month where she will shoot two or three scenes over five days, reports Sky News.

Writing on the social networking site she said: "Dear friends I officially announce I got a part in J. Bond new film!!!"

"Turkey here I come! Thank u all for you love and support! This is officially the happiest day of my life...!!!!"

 Skyfall, starring Craig as the secret agent, began shooting in November last year.

 Skyfall is scheduled for release in the UK in October.
