Patience Jonathan in reply to Gen. Buhari on Scrapping off of the office of the First lady

General Buhari in a statement yesterday during an interview with Weekly Trust, stated that if elected as president in next year’s presidential election, he would abolish the office of the First Lady. The office, though not constitutionally recognized, has been maintained by past and present administrations and is even seen as being key in policy decisions. He said that ministries, which are constitutional, should be allowed to play their roles instead.

"There is the Ministry of Women Affairs, and so on. I was raised by my mother, as I lost my father when I was under 6 yars, so I know what a woman can do if given the chance”.

In a subtle way of replying Buhari's comments, First Lady Dame Patience Jonathan, emphasized the importance of the office of the First Lady in the Nigerian politics, saying that the office has been an avenue for mobilizing women for mass participation in politics. 

She said this in Abia state during a reception organized for her by the Ohuhu community, her maternal home in Umuahia North Local Government Area of Abia state, yesterday.  

She said the bid by politicians from the opposition camp to scrap the office of the First Lady would amount to sending the Nigerian women back to the kitchen if such came to fruition, adding, 

“It is not our portion to go back to the kitchen. We have women that are capable. We can contribute our quota to the development of Nigeria".

She also told the women not to vote for any politician who doesn't respect women.

The First Lady had veered off from the address she was reading at the occasion when she directed the attention of guests to Buhari’s idea which she said was not practicable in the ongoing political dispensation because of the critical role women have been playing in politics.

Ludacris announces his engagement to longtime girlfriend, Eudoxie

Stressed out Kim Kardashian is Having issues Conceiving baby number two

Well, according to TMZ, Kim Kardashian is going through a hard time trying so hard to conceive baby number 2 . Read their report below ...

Kim Kardashian is upset for a very good reason ... as hard as she's been trying, she can't get pregnant. Kim has been very open with friends and family ... she and Kanye have been trying to have another baby for the last 9 months but nothing has worked. Kim has been to fertility doctors, but they've made it clear ... having another baby is a long shot.

Turns out North West was a miracle baby ... she had 3 specialists tell her she couldn't get pregnant before North was conceived.  

Kim and Kanye assumed the second baby would be easier since it worked once, but the doctors are telling her that's not the case.

We're told Kim is trying to reduce her stress and cut down on traveling ... per doctor's advice.

The pics were taken Tuesday in Bev Hills after visiting her doctor. We're told Kanye has been to almost every doctor's visit ... Kim goes once a month.

The Hot Boy rapper who is credited with creating the viral sensation, Shmoney Dance is facing up to 25 years in prison and after he and members of his GS9 gang were arrested last week in shooting, drug and gang srelated crimes in Brooklyn New York. I remember earlier in the year when "The Beat FM" OAP "Toolz" on one her shows said Bobby did look like some involved in gang biz and all , we all laughed about it but apparently she was right. 

The police have announced a 69-count indictment that netted 15 members of the GS9 gang. The top count in the indictment is second-degree conspiracy, which carries up to 25 years in prison. CAN against Kano bomb blast, Sympathyzes with Muslim faithfuls

The Christian Association of Nigeria CAN has rebuked the bomb attack that caused a terror on Friday at the Central Mosque in Kano where over 200 persons have been confirmed dead. In a statement released and signed by CAN President, Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor, the association said the attack on the place of worship is the greatest evil to human beings and to God almighty. "The entire Christian community in Nigeria received the news of the latest in the series of bomb explosions, this time around at the mosque near the Emir’s palace in Kano, with shock and disbelief. This is most unfortunate given the number of people that lost their lives in their bid to offer prayers to their Almighty in the usual Friday worship at the mosque. On behalf of the entire Christians community under the auspices of CAN, I wish to commiserate with the families of the victims especially those who lost their lives in the attack. Close source to the Kardashain family are reporting via TMZ that the family is advising Kloe Kardashain to end her relationship with the rapper "French Montana" their reason, they are saying French is cheating on her .. below is the report from TMZ

Khloe Kardashian needs to run for the hills -- away from French Montana -- and that's exactly what her family told her during a heart-to-heart talk Wednesday.

Sources familiar with the situation tell us ... the Kardashians believe French has been unfaithful to Khloe, and their evidence centers around his recent trip to Dubai.

We're told the family believes French was hooking up with a very pretty woman during the trip, and tried to use Kim as a cover. We know they told Khloe French sought out Kim during the trip so Khloe would see pics of the 2 of them and think he was just hanging with her sis ... nothing nefarious.
