Toke Makinwa to go into Nollywood

The On-Air-Personality and TV presenter will soon add actress to her resume as soon as she gets a good script. The newly wed video blogger revealed she has gotten a few offers from Nollywood but yet to take up any offer as she's waiting for the right story and script.

“Funny enough, I have been getting offers recently. But I am looking for the right story, the right script and then I will do it” Toke said. But Toke ruled out music, “No oh. Too many people are doing that now.”

Last week  +Omotoke Makinwa took the whole entertainment industry by surprise , by announcing that she had married her long time boyfriend, Maje Ayida. What was even more surprising was that we all thought that they had broken up.

Toke spoke about the wedding on her website:

On the 15th of January 2014,  I got married to my lover and Best Friend. It was such an intimate event, I haven’t stopped apologising to family and friends who feel slighted that they could not attend.  I really did not wish to keep it a secret, If anything we would have loved to have all our loved ones there with us but this was our registry and  so much had happened between Maje and I in the last 3 months. Plus, it was such a huge surprise, I had no clue. I hate surprises but I must say, this one knocked me out of my elements because i usually suspect something is happening. Hehehehe!  I am not fully over it yet.

Big Big Congrats to the both of them, and this is hoping we don't get anymore tweet talks ( I bet they knew wehat they were doing all along *rolling eyes* ) .

The Media Personality who have been on and off with Maje Ayida for about eleven years , is finally married!! yes she married the same Maje Ayida who even threw some twitter jabs at her few weeks back .. maybe all that was even planned out sef .. LOL dang! anyway the love birds finally tied the knot within the week , SECRETLY .. am sure we are all stunned!

Toke Makinwa confirms split from longtime boyfriend, Maje Ayida

Toke Makinwa has confirmed the end of her on-again/off-again relationship with fitness expert, Maje Ayida. In an interview with Sunday Punch, Toke confirmed she was no longer engaged to Maje

“I am not under any pressure to get married. It’s the society that puts pressure on women not minding that divorce rates are high. I was once in a long term relationship with Maje Ayida and it has come to an end. I think it’s unfair for me to speak about our relationship because he is not here to defend himself. He is an amazing guy but it was not meant to be. It’s strange being single again but I am taking it one step after the other. One of the mistakes I made in my last relationship is that we dated for a long time. They were amazing years but they were also 12 long years. When you are faithful to someone, know what you can tolerate. My Mr Right has to be God-fearing, who would not do certain things because he is God-fearing. He has to understand what I do and must not be selfish in any way”.

She also confirmed that she gets paid to attend events...see the statement below...

"I enjoy going out and there are some appearances that I would be paid for if my brand aligns with what they are pushing for. I have people who come to me saying they want me to appear at their weddings or birthdays and ask how much I would bill them. It’s not every event that I get paid to attend. It’s called an appearance fee." Toke said
