Dencia slams US-Africa summit ,calls it useless

The US-African Summit hosted by president Obama  is taking place in Washington D.C. President Jonathan is one of the African leaders in attendance..Several Nigerian stars like Tiwa,Don Jazzy,Flavour are also performing at the 3 day summit.

Well Dencia is not excited or expecting any good to come out of it , so she took to her twitter page to air her views...

"Wait so the African Summit in DC will focus on Trade & investment,pls investing in which country?Investment is when 50 presidents pay

"There's hungry kids,people sick in the hospital,Ebola,missing girls in Africa yet u are talking abt trade & investment,Who u investing 4?"

"Why couldn't the summit be held in a peaceful African country?a whole continent flies to 1 count in the name of trade & investment?"

Dencia has really gotten all the attention she needed for her brand product "whitenicious" , having been featured on most of the prominent media platforms across the globe .. She was featured on Channel 4 News yesterday where she fiercely defended her skincare product, Whitenicious. The interviewer tried to go in but Dencia stood her ground. Critics have branded the product an 'abomination' saying it teaches young 'girls of colour' to be ashamed of their skin.
In an interview with Channel 4, Dancia was asked whether she thought the message behind the product was that being white looked better than being black.
She replied: 'I was not selling that message, the media are selling that message. I didn't say, buy the cream and look like Dancia.

"I said seven day, fast acting dark spot remover. It's called reading comprehension. If people missed that class then it's not my fault.'If they think that their whole body is a dark spot then fine, because that's not how I feel.'
Among Dancia's critics is oscar-winning actress Lupita Nyong'o who spoke out against racism in beauty and fashion and warned young black girls not to use bleaching products.
Nyong'o, star of 12 Years A Slave, admitted that when she was younger she wanted to wake up 'just a little bit lighter', because she was ashamed of her dark skin

When asked whether she accepted the point made by Nyong'o, Dancia responded: 'I don't accept that. I don't care about her story. I don't know her.
'I'm an adult and if I lighten my skin then that's my choice, the same as bleaching my hair.'
Skin bleaching is a growing trend in Dencia's native West Africa, and critics are angered that it appears she is promoting it with her product.
Specifically, the pop star has been criticised for using her own changing skin tone as a marketing technique. Pictures of Dencia taken in 2011 show her with much darker pigmentation compared to the Whitenicious campaign where she appears several shades lighter.
In another attempt at justification, Dencia explains that 50 per cent of her customers are African-Americans, not Africans, adding: 'I have girls calling me up and crying, thanking me for Whitenicious.

However, Phinniah Ikeji, from Black Role Models UK, said: 'This is about the young girls.They see you, they love your music, they love you as a person and they have seen that you were darker before and now you're much lighter, what's the message going to be to them?
'They're going to think, OK I want to be like her as well and then that affects their self esteem.'
Commenting on the video on YouTube, user AC MC said: Indians and Africans and people of colour need to stop trying to be white and be happy with themselves. This woman needs mental help.'
Another user, tpl89 added: 'Fake accent, fake hair, fake skin colour. It's so sad, she must really hate her African heritage.'

Dencia claims someone from Lupita's camp told her there was never a letter + says insinuates Rihanna Bleaches

Dencia is claiming that someone from Lupita's camp reached out to her and told her that the Oscar winning actress and her PR team made up the letter she claimed to have received from a fan.

I was fond of Dencia until this her fight with Lupita that has no cause .. she even spelt her name wrong...lol. who bears grudges with someone who is the 7th black lady to win the Oscars ?? Lupita only used that line because that was the trending whitening brand at the time ( which you should have been proud about already) Instead Dencia goes further to say that Lupita is condemning bleaching but hanging out with Rihanna. The Media has told their version about how the Lupita Dencia ish started & claimed it was Dencia when I didn't know this woman until she mentioned me & I can Authoritatively tell u she lied about the letter,someone who works in her Camp reached out to me & told me the was no letter & the story was made up after I said I didn't know who she was.I know u guys are like why I'm I still on it but I was really disappointed when I was told she lied,I was really hoping the's a letter,the person in her camp who reached out doesn't wanna go public but the person said it Infront of me & 2 other people.They read about me,I am doing charity work,building and orphanage and she has nothing charitable going on so standing for a cause she can't even ever fight n Tryna come 4 me is total BS,u wanna talk bleaching but u are smiling ur eyes off in pictures with Rihanna?smh make up ur mind on a cause n fight for it woman by the time I turn 31 which is 6yrs from now,come back let's talk.
