The New Year is definitely starting on a pretty good note for one of Nigeria’s finest artistes, DIPP!
After a fairly successful 2012 with the release of his two new singles, “Balance for me” & “Owambe” and also embarking on a Lagos club tour to promote “Owambe”, DIPP is not holding back in 2013.
Phoenix Entertainment, (label to which DIPP is signed), in partnership with HAWT, Abuja and Pixie Dust PR, presents the “DIPP & Friends Abuja Tour”. It is a 3-day tour which will be taking place from the 13th – 15th of February, 2013.

The tour is created in a bid to provide a more familiar and direct avenue for DIPP to connect with his fans all over the country, create an opportunity where he and his fans can have fun under the same roof and also promote his chart-topping music. The Lagos tour which took place in 15 clubs in 2012 turned out to be a huge success as his friends, industry mates and fans came out to support this fantastic artiste.

Abuja is next in line to enjoy this bunch of talent, first hand. He will be touring 3 of the city’s top clubs: KLUB VANITI, PUB 360 and CLUB MARACAS and also visiting ABUJA UNVERSITY, BAZE UNVERSITY and NASARAWA UNIVERSITY, plus an AUTOGRAPH SESSION at pool side, summerset hotel. Friends of DIPP supporting the tour include Rayce, Eva, May D, Kel, Morell, Dotun (Cool FM), Kore Brown (Top Radio FM), Nedu (Wazobia FM), Kris Da Razor (Beat FM), Doray, and a host of other A-list artistes from Abuja.
Phoenix Records is in partnership with HAWT Abuja to make this tour a ground-breaking success.

Rihanna gives waiter $200 tip!!!

Rihanna gave a lucky waiter a $200 tip.

The Stay singer caused a stir at the Laugh Factory Comedy Club in Los Angeles last Friday (18.01.13) when she slipped the generous wad of cash into an unsuspecting staffer's hand during a night out with her friends. After watching comedian Dane Cook's stand-up routine while downing drinks with six pals, the 24-year-old Bajan beauty was all set to cough up the table's $80 bill.

According to TMZ, when the waiter came over, Rihanna asked him what his biggest tip ever was, to which he replied $100. She then thrust $200 into his hand and quipped: "Now I'm your biggest tip!" Rihanna - who is believed to be back with her on/off boyfriend Chris Brown - is famed for her wild nights out and raucous behaviour in clubs.

The controversial star has been known to post pictures of herself throwing dollar bills at dancers in strip clubs. She shared a snapshot last autumn of a stripper bent backwards with her head between Rihanna's legs while she showed her with notes, alongside the caption: "Bands ah make her dance. (sic)"

The caption was a reference to rapper Juicy J's song, Bands Will Make Her Dance.

News @ChrisBrown & @Drake Off Scot-Free After Nightclub Brawl

Chris Brown and Drake will NOT face criminal charges stemming from their alleged involvement in a massive nightclub brawl this summer in NYC - Law enforcement sources have stated, there just isn't enough evidence to move foward with the case.
According to law enforcement sources, the investigation into the bottle-smashing brawl at WIP nightclub on June 14th has been concluded and no criminal charges will be filed against Chris, Drake or any member of their entourages.

Sources close to the investigation state that the surveillance video in the club was useless because it was so dark and blurry - and the interviews that were conducted by NYPD were inconclusive.

Popular Elegushi hang out Dv8 will be launching its Lounge in the heart of Victoria Island on Adeola Hopewell.

 Debo Animashaun Enterpreneur and owner of the Dv8 chain  took over the same structure that housed one of the longest surviving night clubs and popular hangs out for Victoria Island Residents- The Atlantic bar  (A-bar).

The New Dv8 boasts of the latest technology in sound, spacious vip rooms and an extensive menu.

Top Lagos Club Owner, Louise Priddy Threatens To Publish Debtors Names and Pictures

Louise Priddy, formerly with Bacchus Night club, Lagos, has threatened to publicly disgrace some Lagos “big boys” owing her some amount of money. Priddy, who now runs Posh Cafe located in Victoria Island, Lagos, made this stern warning on her Facebook page yesterday.

While at Bacchus Night club, Priddy successfully ran the hangout spot. It was no surprise to many when she left the club to establish hers, Posh Cafe. But she might not be finding it funny anymore as she claims some Lagos “big boys” owe her.

According to her, "I am telling all you big boys out there, who owe me money, but go to other clubs to spend until you get bounced from there, and then you move on, it is ENOUGH. Instead of clubbing, why don't you get a job? It's time to name and shame [you] with pictures [of] who owes me. Get readyyyyyy, MONDAY."

It is no doubt that Priddy is bitter about this, but many would be keen in seeing names and pictures of her debtors released by her. Will she go ahead with her threat if nothing meaningful happens before Monday? Fingers crossed. LMAO
