With loads of anticipation and curiousity surrounding the signing of  controversial actress turned singer to "D'banj's " DB records a.k.a the LEE family, Tonto has gone ahead to release a snippet to her new song  titled "Suga Rush" and it features D'banj. D'banj introduces artists under his record label, which includes himself, younger brother K-Switch, brothers MossKriss and Ralph Kriss and of course the duchess, Tonto Dikeh. Hnmm sounds like some Chinese Lee temple ish , lol on some yin yang pSee more pics after the cut..

Pokolet meets Banger Lee lol is what I will call this one .. Anyways , Tonto Dikeh is officially the First Lady of D'banj's record label, DB Records. D'banj confirmed the signing via his instagram page after posting the photo of both of them above .. Congrats to her , now we wait for her delivery.. What do you guys anticipate?

D'banj wins 'Best Selling African Artist' at 2014 World Music Awards

Banger Lee has certainly kept himself relevant in all circles, with lots of accolades to show for it. D''banj won 'Best Selling African Artist' award at the 2014 World Music Awards which took place on Tuesday 27th of May at the Salle des Etoiles in Monte Carlo, Monaco. 

D'banj performed at this event alongside artists such as Miley Cyrus, Mariah Carey, Flo Rider, DJ Khaled, Ricky Martin, Tinie Tempah, Leonah Lewis and more! Isn't that amazing ??! Big Ups to the koko master ..See more pics below ...

Between Durella and D'banj's DB Records

King of Zanga, Damilare Okulaja popularly known as Durella hasn't moved to D'banj's DB Records yet contrary to earlier reports, but he is planning to move. He explains why he wants to move to DB:

"I am still signed to Iconic Music but there's a quest to move to DB Records. I want to pitch my tent in the international scene, that's why we gave DB Records some consideration. I think it's a platform for international advancement. I want Sony Records to take over the management of my music career. I also want international distribution for my works. D'banj is my friend, I am presently living in his house. We have not signed an official contract, but very soon, it will come to pass.

Olamide denies being signed to D'banj's record label, DB Records

And when someone asked him about that Kay Switch tweet where he welcomed him (Olamide) to their family, Olamide replied: "Yeah, we family"

I guess that puts an end to the rumour. one thing Is for sure , there's no smoke without fire...Maybe things didn't work out.

There have been rumours that D'banj has signed Olamide to his record label DB Records, but no official confirmation yet...well, until now. D'banj's younger brother, Kay Switch just welcomed Olamide to the family via his twitter handle. "Baddo" is Olamide's nick name. The music star is currently in Atlanta with D'banj. They will perform at a show today at AYVA Centre in Houston.. Do you think of it as a brilliant move?

D'banj Fires Manager Over Kanye West

Another Entertainment union just bitn the dust .... This one is between African's Kokomaster/Entertainer D'banj and his manager Seun Bankuli . Reports have it ....
They got into a heated argument when D’Banj found out Bankuli went to Paris after the Koko concert to work on Kanye West’s next album without him knowing.
Bankuli left for Paris after the Koko concert in December and his employer/artiste wasn’t aware of his ‘clandestine’ trip to Paris to drop adlibs on Kanye’s next LP.
Bankuli also hooked up with G.O.O.D Music producer Travis Scott who was signed to Kanye West’s imprint last November. When D’Banj found out, an argument ensued which resulted in both parties going their separate ways.
Bankuli is also a vocalist and sound creator apart from being an A&R, artiste manager and developer. His vocals can be heard on ‘Lift Off’ featuring Beyonce off the ‘Watch The Throne’ album, and he was credited for his vocal contribution on the track co-produced by Don Jazzy.

He also got additional vocals credit on ‘Illest Mothafucka Alive’ featured on the same album.
Bankuli’s social media profiles- Twitter, Instagram and Facebook- no longer have any DB Records information. His avatar on Twitter now features a logo of Bankuli Entertainment, his newly floated entertainment outfit.
