 Sophia Tchidi Chikere has reacted to the statement released yesterday by actress Nuella Njubigbo who claimed she only started dating the movie director after his marriage to Sophia packed up. Sophia says this is absolutely not true.

  Sophia said she didn't know about the impending wedding until she read it online last week . She also said she initially found the news hard to believe because she and Tchidi are not formally divorced yet.

Reacting to Nuella's comments that the affair with Tchidi only started after his marriage ended, Sophia says it's a blatant lie, that Nuella started dating Chidi long before their marriage ended, and actually blamed Nuella for the demise of her marriage that produced three boys.

This is actually the first time Sophia will comment on this issue since her separation from Tchidi in 2012.
 "I swear with my life, my children's life and everything I have that Nuella started dating my husband before he left the marriage. But because I respect my husband a lot, the father of my three boys, I have kept calm and won't talk and comment because there is no need to wash your dirty linen in public. Tchidi is a wonderful husband and father and will always be.

But if Nuella opened her mouth and said that she wasn't dating my husband before he left the marriage, if she's lying let her not see anything good in life and if I'm lying let me not see anything good in life.

This question is for Nuella. Nuella since you broke my marriage, have I called you? Have I looked for you? No! After what you did, you still have the right to lie and say you were not in the picture? You want to deceive the public? But you can't deceive God. You put what God has joined together asunder and made my children cry to bed every night.

I keep calm and you have the audacity to say that you weren't dating my husband when we were together? Let the wrath of God be your portion. Now that you have taken my hubby and you are getting married to him like I heard, are you happy? Are you fulfilled? Let the Almighty God fight for me and judge you.

Let vengeance be of God who knows everything and sees everything. My God is able and he's not asleep. He sees. He knows. And he feels what I feel. He is the Lord who cares for me and my kids.

Social media Craze LOL .. anyways , like typical Nollywood movies actress "Nuella Njubigbo" will wed her long time love, Nollywood producer/director Tchidi Chikere this weekend in her hometown in Anambra state and this is authoritative. * Probably living out a true life Nollywood flick *

Let me start by confirming some of the rumours you may have heard. Yes, the traditional marriage rites between Tchidi Chikere and I will be performed soon. This was not the way we imagined or planned it, but as they say, nobody has a crystal ball to tell where or who we end up with. Life is a dice.

At the time the rumours of his separation/divorce and me being involved was going on, I definitely was not in that space where some story writers said I was. I was busy doing other things with my life, other preoccupations, a relationship (I thought would lead to marriage), and my acting career. Things happened, my relationship packed up and we went our separate ways, I moved on.

Tchidi and I have always been friends (As I am with other colleagues), We trade in the same career, but we never crossed that line (we never dated), not to talk of me getting pregnant for him ( I’m presently not pregnant as still being written) sometimes It’s really tiring confirming or refuting some of these rumors.  I know some naysayers would still believe what they have made up their minds to believe and stick to; Truth is, I am not making this statement for those set of people, neither am I making it to get people on my side. This statement goes out to those who love me and truly care about me and the way I live my life, and to my very reliable and supportive fans who have been asking questions and deserve to know the truth.

In the past two years, Tchidi and I worked more, we got closer and more friendly, we were both single and I began to understand and see the real him. Needless to say that I also began to really, really like this real person I was getting to know more and more with every passing day. Then it happened, our hearts clicked. Well, maybe the flying rumours contributed to this and made me look more his way, or it could have been part of life we have no control over.

Suffice this to say, he proposed to me a while ago and after very careful thought and consideration on every side I said yes. Would I say no because of what people would say and damn where my heart led me? Just like Bill Cosby said, ‘the key to failure is trying to please everybody’. I chose not to take that route, instead follow my heart.

My heart is remarkably at peace with this decision, and I am willing to take this leap of faith which every married woman has taken. Where this love will lead me I cannot say, I am not God, but, I have hope, faith and believe that it will lead me to a good place. Every one of us in this life deserves a chance to be happy. I am taking my own chance.

This is the only statement I am making on this, any other one after this is not from me. I can’t help what people say or write, but please be careful about what you listen to or read and believe. Tchidi Chikere moves in with Nuella Njubigbo as ex-wife finds love again

According to a report by City People magazine this week, actress Nuella Njubigbo & Nollywood movie producer Tchidi Chikere have moved in together. Nuella, who has been dating Tchidi since before he divorced his actress wife Sophia Chikere, moved out of her Okota family home and moved into a new house with Tchidi at Graceland Estate in Ajah.

The couple reportedly moved in together a few months ago and are still decorating their new home. After reading this report I contacted Nuella's people to confirm the story and they said they have no comment on the matter. Nuella is known to vehemently deny reports if not true, she ain't denying this.

Meanwhile, Tchidi's ex-wife Sophia Chikere has also moved on. The mother-of-three is currently dating a UK based businessman. See their lovey dubby photos below

I saw the press release and I am still laughing...laughing because you did the right thing by standing up to defend yourself but you used the wrong words and you focused on the wrong topic. The story there is as follows: ''When you see Nuella Njubigbo ride in her Toyota Highlander, please know that it is Rivers state tax payers money moving in action as it was a gift from Rivers Governor Rotimi Amaechi for all the love she has been showering on him since they met coincidentally through a desperate businessman looking from patronage from the Governor.

Bononline gathered that Nuella met Governor Amaechi when a Desperate Contractor who had heard several tales of Gov Amaechi sex orgy with Nollywood stars including being a major contributing factor to the collapse of the marriage of a Big Nollywood star who also fell apart from her friend who is a divorcee and has a record of being Nollywood serial lover who went behind her to sleep with the deep pocket Governor. The plan between the contractor and Nuella was for her to hook the Governor during the presentation and thereafter help convince the Governor to go on with deal, Plan A worked well as the Governor liked Nuella and they exchanged numbers but plan B completely failed as  Nuella just hooked on to the Governor and forgot the contractor, we learnt that part of the goodies Nuella had benefited from Gov Amaechi is her Toyota Highlander taken from the pool of cars which

I will tender my apology at the end of this memo no doubt but first I want to tackle some issues that you pointed out in your press release. Note that my response has nothing to do with ''pulling you down further'', I am only trying one last attempt like a drowning fish to rescue my name that you called out in your release....I want to state here categorically that I am not a babalawo, hence your
reference to ''the writers concoction of lies was a misfire''.

Let me start from the beginning.
I am so sorry for not contacting you before I released my story concerning you and the South-South Governor, I guess that was a misfire on my side but the thing is I am tired of the lies told by you and your ilk when called to confirm a story...biko forgive me for that.

I never claimed or wrote anywhere that Nuella lives in the east with a Nollywood producer. I reported last year that Actress Nuella was in a neck deep in a relationship with movie producer Tchidi Chikere and that he had moved out of his home into hers. They came out with a press release denying that anything of such was happening. I hinted that the actress may be pregnant and her flat tummy proved me wrong.

The publicist of that press release confirmed that relationship and even said the producers wife was the reason her marriage crashed, the publicist also corrected me that Nuella was not pregnant.
Before I broke the report of Nuella's affair with Tchidi which was an open secret, they had been dating for many months before the report and Tchidi was a known face at her abode in
Lagos. The second man I reported she dated was international footballer Emmanuel.... whom she
visited briefly in Russia. If she claims she did not go to Russsia to drink tea then so be
it, but thank God she did not break the footballer's relationship to someone else. I quote ''The writer should be bold enough to say publicly what axe she has to grind with Nuella rather than hide behind the noble profession of  journalism to execute her cheap hatchet job. An open declaration of her true intentions will probably confer on her some measure of respect which she desperately needs to salvage her dwindling career fortunes.

Nuella addresses reports that she's dating a South-South Governor

This is a press statement from actress Nuella Njubigbo's publicist reacting to a recent report by Stella Dimoko Korkus about Nuella being in a hot romance with a South-South governor. See it below....

Few days ago a report surfaced online that our client, Nuella Njubigbo is in a sizzling romance with a South-South governor, who bought her the 2012 Toyota Highlander SUV that was recently reported. We would have ignored this but seeing that it came from the same writer who had ’supposedly broken’ the news of Nuella’s ‘romantic dalliances’ with two other men in the last eight months; hence we chose otherwise.

Firstly, our client has never met with the said governor. How can you travel with and ‘romance’ someone you have never met? This kind of magic can only happen in the writer’s concoctions of lies.

  The writer also claimed Nuella couldn’t have been able to buy the car in many years even if she saves rigorously. This is really laughable. It is a known fact that Nuella is one of the busiest actors in Asaba and Enugu, the nerve-centers of present-day Nollywood. For someone whose fee is over N500 000 (Five Hundred Thousand Naira)per movie, how impossible is it for her to buy the N8 million car the writer erroneously quoted?

And isn’t it ridiculous that we naturally come to the conclusion that men must always be behind the good fortune of every successful women in this part of the world? Women are not dummies; they have what it takes to succeed without warming the bed of any man or politician for that matter. Women at the top did not achieve prominence by crooked means. Hardwork pays. Simple!

It was this same writer who reported Nuella was pregnant recently. After realising the absurdity of her lie, she claimed it was a ’brief pregnancy’. Whatever that meant, she alone can explain.

She also claimed that Nuella rented an apartment in Enugu to live with a certain movie director. Several months after, she has not been able to prove her story as Nuella still lives in Lagos.

Recently,she wrote that Nuella was in a hot romance with a Nigerian professional footballer based in Russia. Now, it is a South-South governor and all these happened within the space of eight months.

The writer should be bold enough to say publicly what axe she has to grind with Nuella rather than hide behind the noble profession of  journalism to execute her cheap hatchet job. An open declaration of her true intentions will probably confer on her some measure of respect which she desperately needs to salvage her dwindling career fortunes. Journalism is not for rumour mongers. We know it is her stock in trade to blackmail rising stars and 'A-listers' who are mostly her friends until they come and pay 'homage'. We won't be blackmailed under any circumstance.

We await her next line of action with full assurance that the subsequent set of lies will not go without legal response from our esteemed client.
