Segun Arinze Calls Out Patricia Bala Of Nigeria film and video censors board Regarding Release of Half of A Yellow Sun
The movie "Half of a Yellow Sun" has been Out and Premiered Outside Nigeria but hasn't been released for Viewing here in Nigeria. Due to some forces beyond our understanding . Anyways this doesn't sit well with many in the movie industry and Diaspora , amongst which A-list Actor and , former AGN President and Veteran Segun Arinze is one of them. He expresses he's upset on the matter in a statement he shared with me . Read his statement below.
Please tell Madam Patricia Bala Of Nigeria film and video censors board to release the Movie half of a yellow sun. She has no reason to hold on to the movie. She has no right to censor the movie only to classify it. She saw it in Canada and even partnered with the producers in Canada during the premiere. What she is doing now is an embarrassment to govt and a big insult to our dear industry Nollywood. We are not in a Military regime. She should kindly resign. - Segun Arinze

Renowned Muslim Cleric ,Dr. Ahmad Abubakar Mahmud Gumi shared these photos on his Facebook page..It shows civilians lined up in a secluded area,and later they are pictured on the floor and some being buried in a mass grave by security forces...It is not clear who they were or where they were brought from or when it happened..But he says they are innocent civilians..
Some of the comments said they were probably Boko Haram ,while others claim what ever the case, the killings are unjustifiable..

Jim Iyke made lofty promises to me trying to win my heart and he never expected me to say no so when I did he tried to convince me telling me that the man I claim to love so much and brought to the United States has been cheating on me with everything in skirts. (Philips Ehiagwina) an Edo man I met in Nigeria in 1998 and sacrificed all to ensure he has a good life.Jim Iyke told me all that my husband was and is still doing to me in my absence, even got Ini Edo the actress pregnant.
At the moment, I have confirmed all Jim Iyke told me about my husband. One of my husband’s mistresses Nkiru who lives in Houston, Texas set him up after she found out that my husband betrayed his wife (me) and lied to me. She decided to set him up with an audio coverage and got every prove, he confessed about playing me for a green card on tape.
At d moment he has a case with the United States Immigration and the FBI is also on this case. It is a very long story. I have decided to speak to the press and bring the truth to the table at this moment.
It’s very unfair that Jim Iyke who knows the truth but afraid to face it could be so callous to accuse an innocent person like Emeka Ike who has been nothing but a big brother to me since I’ve known him.
I was very upset about it and and fought for the truth. My husband met me as a virgin and took my virginity on a night of our honeymoon. for him to paint a bad picture of me simply because I reported his green card fraud to d FBI since he has refused to confide in me is something I never saw coming but I will fight to d end.
Jim Iyke has tried dating several girls just to obtain a green card, one of d girls he dated confessed that he tried to get her pregnant and when she said no Jim Iyke decided to spend her money with promises of everlasting love and then left her for another person. Now he is dating a Jamaican girl ( Keturah Hamilton) who just got her green card few months ago after marrying for a green card. She is also a male magazine model who strips naked for male magazines.
Those supporting Jim Iyke right now should know he destroyed my marriage. Jim Iyke is evil, very vicious. It was a good thing that he got exposed. Keturah Hamilton is a loser. She has no means of livelihood. She strips for clubs and that is. Good riddance to bad rubbish. Jim Iyke framed Emeka Ike and me up. Keturah Hamilton was there. Jim Iyke is a home wrecker, who just got served! He came back because Keturah just became an American citizen. It is all about getting a green Card.

It became very apparent that Jim iyke lied to both Keturah Hamilton and Nadia Bauri. Nadia Bauri decided to pull the plug off their ever restless relationship.
Nadia's manager subsequently called him, he lied that he was in Miami. I was on the phone with Keturah Hamilton when Nana( Nadia's manager) sent me a text message saying Jim was in Miami.
Some hours ago, Jim called to insult me. Saying maybe I want to be famous. This writer started enjoying limelight, stardom and fame while Jim was maybe in Secondary School. He said I was the only man on earth he respected till today.This guy is a monumental disappointment, fraudster, liar and a cheat. Why is he so mad? The reason is simple. He is looking for a scapegoat. Jim should hold himself responsible for whatever happened to his relationship with Nadia Buari. On the other hand, Keturah Hamilton is no more available. President Jonathan strongly condemns Jos Bomb Blast
In a statement released by Reuben Abati this evening,President Goodluck Jonathan has strongly condemned the bomb blast which reportedly killed about 200 in Jos today..
"President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan strongly condemns the bomb blasts in Jos, Plateau state, today, describing the perpetrators of this tragic assault on human freedom as cruel and evil. He has also directed all relevant agencies to mobilize support and relief efforts in aid of the victims. The President extends his heartfelt sympathies to the affected families and persons.
President Jonathan assures all Nigerians that government remains fully committed to
winning the war against terror, and this administration will not be cowed by the atrocities of enemies of human progress and civilization
President Jonathan has also expressed Nigeria’s deepest appreciation to the international community on the success of the recent Summit in Paris on the security situation in Nigeria hosted by the President of France, Francois Hollande.
He reaffirms Nigeria’s commitment to the implementation of the resolutions reached by the Summit, in addition to existing measures already being taken by the administration to combat terrorism and ensure the safety of lives.
President Jonathan states that the Federal Government of Nigeria is prepared to strengthen existing mechanisms to ensure the immediate implementation of the resolutions of The Summit, among which are:
Furthermore, the Federal Government of Nigeria will rebuild the Chibok School and fortify security in schools. In collaboration with the UN Secretary-General’s Envoy on Education, former British Prime Minister Gordon Brown and the private sector, the government will launch the “Safe Schools Initiative” which will address security issues; re-build the destroyed schools; and provide equipment and materials.”
- i. That every necessary measure should be taken to find the school girls abducted by Boko Haram terrorists from Government Girls’ Secondary School, Chibok, Borno State on 14th April 2014;
- ii. That Nigeria and other countries in the sub-region will continue to co-operate and co-ordinate efforts to combat the Boko Haram menace.
- iii. That the Heads of State have agreed that each country will contribute one battalion of troops to the international force set up to patrol the border areas, in line with the Resolution of the Lake Chad Basin Commission. France, United States of America and the United Kingdom will extend technical assistance to achieve this objective;
- iv. That the countries will come together to put in place an effective border management regime;
- v. That no effort will be spared to stop the proliferation of small arms and light weapons and the supply of arms and equipment made available to terrorists.
- President Jonathan considers these measures very useful aspects of the concerted international effort to combat terrorism and put an end to the Boko Haram menace. In addition, the President, in Abuja, today, directed relevant government agencies to ensure enhanced implementation of the following programmes in the areas affected by Boko Haram atrocities:
- (i) Emergency relief assistance: The intensification of on-going relief assistance programmes by the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA)) in partnership with donor agencies. The programme will ensure rapid deployment of relief assistance to the affected local government areas and communities. This will include provision of food supplies, medical supplies, basic relief commodities, and conditional cash transfer programmes for affected households;
- (ii) Rapid needs assessment: To support additional intervention programmes in the region, the President has also directed that on-going rapid needs assessment by government agencies should be accelerated to identify affected communities and households and assess the extent of damage to public and private infrastructure, amongst others.
- (iii) Safety of schools: President Jonathan has also reiterated Nigeria’s determination to ensure the safety and security of schools in Borno and other parts of the country and also provide counselling services to any affected students to enable them return to school and continue with their academic work.

Two Bomb Explosions Kill At Least 200 People In Jos Market
Another menace , another sad day, more brutal killings , more innocent people dead . Sahara Reporters are reporting two big explosions rocked the Jos University Teaching Hospital (JUTH)
area inside the Terminus Market near Murtala Mohammed way, in Jos city.
Eyewitness said the explosions shook the entire area causing major panic in the area.The bombs were primed to inflict maximum casualties as they exploded few minutes apart.
Over 200 people were killed, up from the official 72 dead released earlier by government sources, as the two apparent car bombings had exploded 32 minutes apart.
The first vehicle to explode was a Peugeot J5 van, with the registration number XG 148 BLD. The second blast was carried out with a Toyota van, with a Gombe state license plate number.
An eyewitness told SaharaReporters that the second car, a Toyota Sienna van, had been abandoned since 6 AM Tuesday morning.
At least five residents had informed police officials, suspicious of the mysteriously van parked in their area, but no police arrived at the scene, and nothing was done until the car exploded some hours afterwards. Sources tell SaharaReporters the car “exploded,” after a beeping sound was heard from curious local residents.
