Meet Ruby @Rubygyang .. @LoopyMusic1 's Soul Artist

Nigeria’s Afro Soul Singer, Ruby, has over the past one year grown to be a growing phenomenon in the Nigerian Music Industry. She had quite a busy year, steadily building her fan base and performing in various places and events all over Lagos

Early in the 2012, she performed at Jesse Jagz’ Industry Night at the Oriental Hotel. The crowd was pleasantly shocked at the relatively new sound she was bringing

into the Nigerian scene on a platform known for Pop acts.

March 2012, MI launched Illegal Music 2 Mixtape, his website miabaga.com, and the new artistes signed to Loopy Music was another opportunity for her to impress

herself upon the industry night audience.

Rock Night, hosted by Nigeria’s premier rock band Threadstone, allowed her fuse a taste of rock into her single ‘Okay’.

The video for her single, OKAY, shot and directed by Clarence Peters- enjoyed massive airplay on cable television stations and content providers.

Ruby performed an unreleased track from her forthcoming album, ‘High’ on NdaniTV.

Later in the year, she opened the Future Awards event in Port Harcourt with the Nigerian National Anthem.

Ruby became a crowd favorite at Bogobiri’s Taruwa, Terra Kulture and Freedom hall. She also rendered a stunning performance at the Champagne Jazz party.
