visit the schools she funded, sent a letter to Malawi president, Joyce
Banda, asking to meet

President Banda blasted Madonna, claiming that the 54year old pop star
reneged on
her promise to build a $15 million academy for girls. They say she's
only building classrooms and not entire schools ..

That's not the issue , Madonna was only offering a hand , a gesture of concern, and an urge to help. be it for press or not, all the President needed to do was appreciate her .. even if it's only a wall she offered to build ....
