Air Nigeria Abuja-bound plane refuses to start

According to Daily Times, the engine of an Abuja-bound Air Nigeria plane refused to start at the Murtala Muhammed Airport (MM2) yesterday May 27th. There were passengers aboard the plane and all had been set for the first flight of the day, but several attempts by the pilot to start the engine of the aircraft proved abortive.

The pilot then explained to the passengers that the development was caused by the fact that the ground power could not ignite the engine, but three different ones were brought and the aircraft engine still failed to start.

The passengers panicked, got off the plane and demanded a refund of their fare, which they got back after the management of the airline apologised for the situation.
