Meet ‘ZAMIR’, formerly known as Yung LOS. (PHOTOS)

Meet ‘ZAMIR’, formerly known as Yung LOS.

The L.O.S crew member whose real names are Mobolaji Razaq Zamir

Ladipo, now wishes to be known and addressed as ZAMIR as he officially

drops his former act name ‘Yung’.

Zamir, aka Mr. Bad Guy P like his fans call him, is a rapper, songwriter and

producer known for producing the hit single for L.O.S (Loud On Sound)

“BAD GUY P” and ‘BAD GUY P’ (Remix) featuring Banky W and Sarkodie.

He graced us on his birthday with the song we all love “FARABALE” in

2012 and also ‘OGA’ and ‘NO WAY’ (which featured his fellow LOS crew

member TOMI THOMAS in 2013).

Zamir (which means music in Arabic), draws inspiration from everyday

activities and people like Kendrick Lamar, Drake, Fela, Bob Marley and

2Pac. Speaking on his inspiration, he says “making music is about telling a

story”. And when he isn’t making music or otherwise “telling a story”, he is

listening to music or exploiting one of his other talents; the art of drawing,

which explains his fascination and love for tattoos.

The talented and versatile Zamir, with his outstanding one take lyrical

flows, constructive music writing skill and a quintessential sense of style,

has worked with a variety of top Nigerian acts as a producer and an artist.

He however hopes to work with international acts like Asa, Sade Adu, and

Kendrick Lamar in the near future.

Zamir aka Mr. Bad Guy P promises his fans something fresh and different

this year and enjoins everyone to lookout and be expectant. He is set to

release two new singles in the following weeks “Normal Dubz” and “E

don tey” which features MI, as he tidies up work on his debut album "I AM

ZAMIR" due for release later in the year.
