I don't know why people are over flogging the issue , correct me if am wrong but is fashion not all about creativity, art and feeling good and comfy in your own skin? besides she has already moved on since the CFDA and has appeared is several events already . Rihanna was awarded for being a fashion Icon .. Let it be already. And concerning social media fights , Rihanna is not one to be messed with... She always replies and hard!. During
an interview on a programme in Australia on thurday, the remaining
members of TLC, Chilli and T.Boz, criticized Rihanna for wearing that
see-through outfit to
Monday's
Council of Fashion Designers of America Awards.
"Every time I see you you don't have to be naked,' T-Boz said. "It's easy to sell sex. It's hard for us to say anything because any time we do, they say, 'Oh TLC must be jealous', but I call a spade a spade"
"We became the biggest girl selling group of all time with our clothes on and that says a lot,' Chilli chimed in "We
could go around too with booby cakes out all day long"
Well, Rihanna took to Twitter and fired some shots of her own. She first
released the1st pic above that shows the girl group showing off their
own breastises back in the day...and changed the header image on her
Twitter profile to a photo of TLC topless.
Then she became disrespectful. Continue...
What T.Boz also said below...
"You know what Madonna did [first] … but right now its
like a domino effect, everybody seems to be doing that because it gets
so much attention. People are usually followers, it’s rare that you have
leaders who switch the game up and do something totally different. So
you have all these followers, all of them doing the same thing as a
result … posting half-naked pictures of themselves on Twitter and
Instagram – it’s just crazy, almost like you are dying for attention. I
think it will take more artists not doing it, it’s as simple as that. At
the end of the day the music speaks for itself, you don’t have to take
your clothes off if your music is great and you have a great image to
support that it’s definitely a win:win. It’s crazy to think that to have
someone keep their clothes on would be refreshing. “It’s easier for boy
bands. You find one or two guys that can really sing and if they are
cute and have a six pack they’ve got [thousands of] fans. It’s different
for women, most of us don’t want to show off our bodies all the time.”
