News - @KeriHilson Faints on Plane on Her Way back from China Trip

Celebrities having medical problems while travelling on air seems to be the new in-thing. A few weeks ago Lil' Wayne suffered a couple of seizures in an aeroplane a couple of weeks ago, a situation similar to Rick Ross' situation last year October. 

Beautiful R&B/pop singer Keri Hilson fainted in a plane on her way back from China. She also threw up when she was revived. The singer who is on her way to Nigeria this month attributed her health scare episode to a lack of proper rest and sleep. You can read her tweets below; 

Thank God the singer is in better condition now. We definitely want a fit and healthy Keri Hilson in Nigeria.

Popular designer Remi Lagos has passed away

One of the pioneers of fashion in Nigeria is gone. Remi Osholake, the talented designer behind fashion power house Remi Lagos, died in the early hours of this morning in a London hospital after battling cancer for a while. She was 51. Incredibly sad day for the Nigerian fashion and modeling industry. May her soul rest in peace...Amen. -->

'My ex-wife killed my son; wants me dead' - John Okafor

In January 2011, popular Nollywood actor John Okafor's wife and 1 year old son, Mandela Okafor (both pictured above), were kidnapped and held in captivity for 10 days. Then exactly one year later, 2 year old Mandela died in mysterious circumstances. John Okafor later revealed in an interview that his son died from food poisoning.

In an interview with Entertainment Express yesterday, Mr Okafor accused his ex-wife of poisoning Mandela and also trying to kill him. What he said below:

"My ex-wife and her cohorts planned and kidnapped my wife and child; they were later released after 10 days. I paid the ransom and they came home twelve hours later. That child died a year later through poison. The facts later came out but I don't want to act on it now. She has made several attempts on my life and that of my immediate family. You will be surprised the day you hear what really happened, but I don't want to go into details now'

D.L. told NPR,

"I've never met an angrier group of people. Like black women are angry just in general. Angry all the time. My assessment, out of, just in my judgment, you either are in charge or they're in charge, so there's no kind of day that you get to rest (ph).”

Terrorist sect Boko Haram yesterday said they were ready to ceasefire but gave conditions:

1. Former Head of State, Muhammed Buhari as leader of the negotiating team.
2. Dialogue must take place in Saudi Arabia, not Nigeria
3. Arrest and prosecution of former Governor of Borno State, Senator Ali Modu Sheriff.
4. All their members who were arrested must be released immediately.
5. Their wives and children who were displaced following the crises should be rehabilitated into the society

Obinna,21, a 200 level student of UNIPORT was reported to have developed multiple sex organs after an intensive 2 night sexcapade with his gay lover in a popular hotel in Ifako Gbagada,Lagos. He was alleged to have met the man on social networking site,Hi5 after which he was paid N20,000 for transportation to Lagos. He came and after the rendevous was paid the agreed sum of N150,000 only for him to discover in a jiffy that his penis was developing branches but lo and behold the partner was no where to be found!

He raised an alarm which attracted people to the scene. It seems youths have not learnt from the recent murder of Cynthia who was lured into her death through the social media.

Guess this will teach some dudes who have converted gay escapades to a means of making fast money a lesson. You just might be the next victim. "A stich in time saves nine".

After a three week run at Number 1 on the Official Streaming Chart, K-pop sensation Psy’s Gangnam Style has been ousted from the top spot by Rihanna. The Bajan superstar, who was last week crowned the UK’s second biggest selling female singles artist of all time, climbs up one place with Diamonds after three weeks on the chart.

The Official Streaming Chart is compiled by the Official Charts Company on behalf of the British music industry, and has been running since May. It is the first chart which ranks audio streams from both ad-funded and subscription streaming services in the UK, which reflects the increasing interest in the new generation of music services such as Spotify, Deezer, Napster and We7.
After 4 weeks, Rihanna’s latest single ‘Diamonds’ finally reached the top spot in Europe’s biggest market.
