FG replaces PHCN director, CEOs of power coys

President Goodluck Jonathan has approved the retirement of three key functionaries of Power Holding Company of Nigeria (PHCN) and its successor companies.
Mr Ogbuagu Anikwe, Special Assistant to the Minister of Power, stated this in a statement made available to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Lagos on Monday.
The statement said the action was part Federal Government’s efforts to address the deteriorating power situation in the country.
It named the retired officers as Mr Akinwumi Bada, erstwhile CEO of Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN); Mr Uzoma Achinanya, former Market Operator and Mr Olusoga Muyiwa, Executive Director, Human Resources, PHCN.
