Wayz Boy [real
name - Edafe Juweto] is a
20-year artiste, currently based in the suburbs of Surulere, Lagos, but hails
from Delta state, Nigeria. Kicking off his musical career at age 14, he dropped his 1st official single titled "Naira Na My Money"
at the age of 17; a song with a cool
blend of both the R&B and Rap genre. He has stayed true to his hustle on
the musical front as the UNIBEN undergraduate derives strength from his
charisma and subtle unique voice. Wayz
Boy, unlike most other musical artistes who started out from the church
scene, traces his roots back to the streets, as was felt on his previously
released single titled "Like Calabash", which went on
to endear a certain level of reviews and air-play. As the musical trend on the
Nigerian music industry scene keeps evolving, he has been able to switch his
style up likewise, as is evident on this new single of his, the Galactic-produced
"Boom Boom Bam"; a song
which early taste-makers in the likes of DJs, have proposed to be a club
banger. This is no self-hype as the "Boom
Boom Bam" track, which starts off with a soul-serenade feel within the
first 10seconds of play, kicks off
into the fast-paced club scenario from its 15th
second and rides on until the end. Highly energetic Wayz Boy, who's currently unsigned, seems to be starting off the
New Year with high spirits and promises to churn out more jaw-dropping singles
as the course of the year takes its turn. Without further delay, prepare to get
serenaded by the Galactic-produced "Boom
