Star actress, Genevieve Nnaji has been recognized as
a New Generation Leader for Africa by the Africa Leadership Network
(ALN). The African Leadership Network is a network of young African
leaders, which was founded in 2010 by Acha Leke (Mckinsey and Company)
and Fred Swaniker (African Leadership Academy).
Similarly recognized by the African Leadership Network were Kunle
Afolayan (film director), Biola Alabi (MNet), Alex Okosi (MTV Base),
Idris Elba (actor), Akinwumi Adesina (Minister of Agriculture,
Nigeria), Idris Elba (actor), Haile Gebrselassie (athlete), and a host
of others.
The honorees were chosen by the ALN selection committee, from among
